Four of our Prescott students represented the North East District in the Metro Athletics Day on Tuesday 21st May. The journey to the postponed SAPSASA Athletics Day finally arrived on Monday 13th May and 25 students from Year 4 through to Year 7 marched out to represent our school with great attitudes, athletic prowess and team spirit.

This week Year 1 and 2 students had their first of four IAAF Kids’ Athletics sessions with a coach from Athletics Australia. Students participated in the Fundament Movement Skills program which focused on the development of running, jumping and throwing skills through lots of fun and engaging activities. Throughout the school, all PE classes are currently practising a variety of athletics skills in preparation for the upcoming whole school Sports Day on the 23rd of May.
