Year 4 Excursion

On Wednesday the of 6th March, 2019, the fantastic Year 4 classes embarked upon an informative excursion to the Adelaide Art Gallery and Botanical Gardens. They were in pursuit of new understandings and experiences in how the Aboriginal people communicate through various art styles, and how the Aboriginal people have used and continue to use the land to its full capacity, as food, tools, shelter and much more. The students were led in guided tours, examining wonderful artworks and exploring the vast “supermarket” of the Botanical Gardens. This excursion perfectly complemented our Year 4 curriculum foci in Visual Arts and HASS.
