Girls Group
Our Year 4, 5 and 6 girls are participating in Girls' Group with our amazing school counsellor, Ali, and PPN staff in Weeks 4, 5 and 6. In each session, the girls participate in an information session with Ali, discussions and group activities. Topics covered include; Being a good listener Identifying feelings Understanding the feelings of others Positive and negative friendship traits Making good friendship choices Differing communication styles Being assertive Solving con


Our New Playground Is Open
Nothing quite builds anticipation quite as much as school starting with a fence around a new playground. Earlier this week the fences were finally able to be taken down and students could have a first go on the new Upper Primary Playground. The playground, which was designed with student input, has been a hit. The bigger set of equipment and modern design means our students have more opportunities to play together – and they’ve already found new ways and new games to enjoy th
School Starts with a Splash
It was perfect weather last week for our annual Swim Safe week for all Year 2-6 students. Swim safety and a love of water is a vital part of growing up and we are always excited to provide this opportunity to our students. No doubt your kids came home with great stories, lots of washing and just a little bit of tiredness. Thanks for your support and we look forward to Foundation and Year 1 swimming towards the end of the year.


First Chapel of the Year
Our weekly Chapel program is a highlight for all students at PPN. And, if enthusiasm is anything to go by it appears our students have missed it over the holidays! Parents are welcome and invited to attend our chapels each Thursday: Lowers at 9am and Middle/Uppers at 10am (unless otherwise advised).


School's in at PPN
The 2026 school year is off to a flying start here at Prescott Primary Northern. After sitting silent over the holidays our grounds and classrooms are once again full – full of people, but also full of learning, laughing and growing.
