As part of their Living and Non-living Science Unit in term 1, the Year 3’s planted cucumber and lettuce seeds in the schools’ fruit and vegetable garden. Over the course of the term, the classes took turns to water and watch the plants as they grew. This week, the students had lots of fun picking the veggies to taste and eat. On Monday the 29th of March, a team of 13 players travelled to Tyndale Christian School to participate in the Interschool Chess Tournament for this term. It was an exciting day, with Prescott finishing in first place! Many players had their best tournament with 7 receiving gold medals. The Year 6s have started their adventures to Prescott College to experience a day in the life of a high school student. We will be visiting Prescott College over 9 weeks, experiencing the subjects Science, Home Economics and Design Tech.
