Yr 1 Royal Adelaide Show Art Work

In Visual Arts during Terms 1 & 2 our Year 1 students had fun experimenting with various  art techniques. They used drawing, painting, collage, sculpture and textiles to create their individual pieces of artwork. The students then chose their favourite piece to enter in the Junior Art, Craft and Design section of the Royal Adelaide Show.

Many of the students then took pleasure in going to the show to see if they managed to win one of the prizes. Schools from all over South Australia enter the show and so it was great to see our artwork hanging up amongst everyone's work.

Prescott Primary Northern were very lucky to receive 20 winners from a variety of sections this year. Well done budding artists we are so proud of you all!
