Planting A Garden
This week, our Foundation students had the opportunity to plant a small herb garden. We are planting a pizza herb garden to watch it grow and will use the produce on our mini pizzas, once they have grown big enough!
The students planted basil, parsley, oregano and some thyme. They carefully dug a hole, made it nice and wet, planted a seedling, and covered it carefully with soil and mulch. Then they made sure each seedling had plenty of water to drink.
The students were enthusiastic planters, discussing each step and the needs of a plant eagerly. Why not make a pizza garden with your family! It is easy to do and yummy to eat.
